Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 30.09.2026
Introduction
AWAG IT & KI Lösungen, represented by Yuliia Ptitsyna, is committed to making its digital offerings at awag-it.de accessible and usable for as many people as possible – regardless of any impairments they may have. Since 28 June 2025, the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) – the German Act Strengthening Accessibility, which transposes the European Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act) into German law – has imposed increased requirements on the digital accessibility of products and services offered to consumers. Since our website can be used, among other things, to book and pay for courses from our Online Academy in electronic commerce, these requirements are relevant to us. As a benchmark, we rely on the requirements of the EN 301 549 standard as well as the internationally recognized Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA.
This statement describes our current status and our efforts, undertaken on a voluntary basis. It does not constitute a formal, externally audited confirmation of conformity, but transparently documents which measures have already been implemented and what we continue to work on.
Current State of Accessibility
The website is regularly reviewed for compliance with digital accessibility criteria.
In automated tests using Google Lighthouse, our website currently achieves a score of 100 out of 100 points in the accessibility category.
The automated test covers, among other things, technical criteria relating to contrast, semantic structure, labeling, alternative text, and the accessibility of interactive elements.
However, an automated test cannot capture every requirement for digital accessibility. In particular, actual usability with various assistive technologies, as well as certain context-dependent requirements, can only be assessed through additional manual review.
Known Limitations
We are currently not aware of any significant barriers that would prevent the use of our website's core functions.
For certain externally embedded services, older documents, or third-party content, limitations cannot be completely ruled out, since their technical implementation is partly outside our direct sphere of influence.
We review the website as part of its ongoing development and take accessibility into account, in particular for new features and changes.
Should you nevertheless encounter a barrier, we would appreciate you letting us know.
Feedback and Contact
Should you encounter barriers while using our website or our Academy platform, we welcome your feedback. Please contact us:

Dispute Resolution Procedure
Should a dispute arise in connection with the requirements of the BFSG concerning the digital accessibility of our website that cannot be resolved directly with us, you may contact the Schlichtungsstelle BFSG (BFSG Conciliation Body) at the Bundesamt für Justiz (Federal Office of Justice). This body was established on the basis of the BFSG to offer consumers and businesses an out-of-court procedure for resolving disputes concerning the accessibility of digital products and services.
